Gentle berry and vanilla toastiness on the nose with a typical Merlot ripe mulberry rich summer fruit palate. A soft mouthfeel, well-balanced tannins and smoothness ensure an elegant wine.
This generous and vibrant Merlot shows upfront plum. Red berry and cherry flavours with nuances of cinnamon. The palate is accessible with well integrated. powdery tannins and a seamless and lingering finish.
The entry on the palate is smooth, with a silky tannin structure and a plush red fruit core. The balanced acidity acts as the perfect foil for the fruit spectrum and carries the wine all the way to the finish, ending with lingering flavours of crunchy red currants and ripe plums.
Ridgeback Merlot has intense aromatics of dark plum, mulberry and liquorice with a hint of mint. A generously juicy mid palate is well cradled by ripe tannin and lingering pepper wood spice on the long finish.
Lightly oaked full bodied wine with strawberry and black berry notes on the nose and a rich fruity palate with balanced tannins that ensure easy drinking.
