Buffelsfontein Brandy (Brandewyn) is a South African produced smooth and easy drinking brandy, matured for a period of three years. Crafted by the creators of the famous Buffelsfontein Baardolie, it has been likened to the soothing sound of rain on an iron roof, a cold cloth on a hot forehead and grandma’s roast leg of lamb. Opaque with purple rim. Rich, dark berry nose with loads of spice and fine oak. Enormous mouth feel loaded with
rich berry fruit and slow, soft, almost syrupy flow across the palate. Full, ripe fruit flavours are deposited all the way.
Big wine yet beautifully balanced. Long, aromatic finish. Very attractive now but lots of potential still to develop.
