Oak matured with vibrant plum and ripe berry fruit on the palate. The wine has an intense aroma of roasted coffee beans followed by a smoky mocha-java aftertaste.
This fine wine displays a medium to light colour and body which is typical of this cultivar. Vibrant red and black cherry fruit flavours are evident on both the nose and palate, followed through with a gently lingering aftertaste of herbaceous notes with hints of mild white pepper spices.
This wine is graciously full bodied with bold, yet smooth tannin that carries the flavours of mixed dark berries through to the long and spicy aftertaste. A hint of cigar box and cloves add to the endless depth and complexity of this abundant wine.
Seamless. Seamlessness is the perfect description of the development of the prominent but pleasant tannins, which caresses the palate, builds through the mid palate and gently tapers off through the long and fruit filled aftertaste. Flavours of dark berries, plums and cedar wood accompanies the fruity tannins all the way through its development.
Rich plum, mulberry and mint on the nose, followed by layers of blackcurrant, cherries and spice on the palate. Well balanced & structured with juicy, sweet tannins with a dry finish.
Organic
A wine that embodies all of the character of the Tempranillo variety. An intense cherry colour; very expressive, with notes of fruit, vanilla and caramel. A long and well constituted wine.
Part of Noble Hill used to be called Southern Cross farm, named after the Crux constellation. We mark this chapter in the estate’s history with a special carbonic-macerated, naturally-fermented wine intended for early release.
Maraschino cherries, black plums, prunes and banana-flavoured Wilson toffee aromas are depicted on the nose, followed by medium acidity and medium alcohol. The palate presents young tannins that will soften with age and aeration. A slight toastiness is detected on the mid-palate followed by sweet, stewed prunes.
