This wine is made from a bushvine vineyard planted in the Swartland about 50 kilometres north of Dornier. In this area the soil consists of a combination of sand and coffee stone. The vineyards are not irrigated and the vines bear small bunches with small berries and wonderfully concentrated flavours.
Dornier Pinotage has a deep garnet red appearance. The aroma is intense and persistent with notes of cherry and red berries with a subtle Turkish delight or rosewater backdrop. The palate has great concentration with distinct notes of plum, bitter cherry, strawberry jam and black pepper supported by restrained spicy oak flavours on the finish.
Cabernet has grown on the granite slopes of the Simonsberg mountain for over 300 years and produces classic, elegant wines. Aromas of cassis and Moroccan mint underlined by robust tannins and a long finish.

Pale with bright yellow reflections. Nose leads with ripe tropical fruit where citrus, melon and pineapple mingle. Hints of vanilla and some floral notes. Lively mouth where the tropical ripe fruit flavors give an impression of sweetness but great acidity gives fine balance.
Medium to light, grainy edge, blue purple. Ripe plum on the nose with light spice backing. Hints of cherry and light earthiness. Good full mouth with more flavors than the nose suggested. Ripe plum with slight smoky trace. Light, supple tannins with smooth flow across the plate. Dry finish with ripe berry notes and lasting spice.
This fine wine displays a lovely salmon hue and an inviting nose with hints of rose petals and cherry fruit. On taste, a delicate balance of fruit and a touch of white pepper spice, with light savouriness and a creamy mouth-feel, the 12.5% A/V being well integrated. Long, clean and spicy finish.
Deep, dark, almost opaque with grainy, purple edge. Rich, ripe berry fruit nose with hints of forest floor, char and touch of dark chocolate. Big, full, well rounded mouth with layers of flavor including plum, mulberry and fruit cake. Long, fruit filled finish. Good drinking now yet will develop over a few years in the bottle.
A uniquely South African grape variety. A complex nose of red cherry and plum notes is followed by spice on the palate with soft tannins and an elegant finish.
